so this up coming weekend I hope to get the new gears in the 8.8 and the new d30 with all new bushings and ball joints

This is soooooo true! If you're not sure about how to do this type of install either do your due-diligence and research the hell out of it, or find someone that knows how to do this type of install and have them do it. And remember, gears do need to be broken in as well.
