yeah it does...lol. i am going all out on this one. the woman i got it from her son got killed in a motorcycle wreck. she kept it in her back yard for 5 years. she decided to let it go and i was the lucky one to get it. she told me what her son wanted and thats how i will build it. it has even been given her sons name by her request...."Ricky".

I foresee a cool paint job with "Ricky" as a feature in gold leaf. Looking forward to this build.

i just hope i can pull it off. he wanted it pretty wicked...but i would want this to if my son died and his dream truck never got finished...i would want someone to finish it.....now i am going to try my best to make both Rickys and Carol's dreams come true.

If I may..... Perhaps it may be worthwhile to spread this story around in your local community's jeep/offroad clubs, and 4WD shops.... see if you cant do a fund raiser, even get a local body shop to help out with a "dedication" paint job with "Ricky" in/on it. Then offer to volunteer at local high schools to spread the story around about responsible driving etc.... Maybe even float this story/idea around the local news/radio stations.

Look i'm not saying you exploit this or try to take advantage of a situation. And I'm all for doing this all your self.... but why not try to generate support and awareness at the same time? You might be able to make this thing into that much more of a tribute rig all in the name of Ricky.
Regardless of any of this, best of luck.... I Really hope this turns out the way you and his family have envisioned it to.

thats a good idea but i do it all...lol, jst getting the time and parts is going to be the hardest.he wanted low cog and big tires...i went out and bought some 36's and put the on his lift that just did clear 33's...seen in first pic...i am doing lots of body mods to make these 36's work and be able to flex and not rub.i have to get new springs for rear, and long arm kit in front to replace the short arm,an exocage, winches front and rear,a custom bedline and white paint job with camo in there, roof basket with lights, lockers, unibody stiffeners,...see i got alot on my plate now...but well whorth it and the cause could not be for the better. help guild me Ricky to make this "YOUR" jeep.

By not getting power, do you mean the blower, or just nothing to the compressor?

XJ Wheeler

If it is the the to the blower like 4.3LXJ is asking, have you tried turning it on high? Could be the resistor if so.

not getting power anywhere. and i don't know enough about this stuff to try to fix it. blower does not come on, dash lights don't work. i checked the fuses they are good but it looks like the fuse box has been wet. gotta get it fixed...my kids will be in this thing too and its starting to get a little cold.

Troy, the first thing to check is your fusible links coming off the starter relay. Each one powers multiple systems.

ok can you post some pics so i look at the right thing...i don't know what the fusible link looks like....not at all into electrical.

They look like a colored wire, orange or green and go into red with a funny rubber connection. They are a heavy duty fuse, 20 or 30 amp that can burn and look almost good. Might have only a funny little hole in it.
