Yeah, I may not paint it we'll see but I'm just going to take my zoom zoom to it and sand it off and maybe get Azzy to make me some stickers for it.

I still haven't found a suitable enclosure for the air filter it's something I've been looking for most of the week. I'm going to run a dual battery set up further down the line so I have to make something work in the space I have

Look at the spectre inline air filter. Have seen it used with that snorkel before.

Sent from my nerdy smartphone

I found another option I didn't wanna blow that much on a kit.

Also found a problem with the Asian kit. If you have a 97+ you're going to have to relocate/get a different bottle which isn't to big of a problem I've all ready figured it out :) just so ya know thought take a look at these pics! 2439

I went and looked and the kit said nothing about 97+ or 96 and below so yeah... I thought they sent me the wrong kit but the description just says for a 4 liter yes that's righ, LITER :P not gallon ;)

So I noticed just before I went up stairs last night they had also sent me a broken part so I demanded a refund because they sent me a broken part and that it was not made for the 96+ and that this was broke....

That sure is some high quality right there. I told him I have pics and he insists its made for all models of Cherokees. ..

He neglects to mention the relocation so no I'd say its not made to fit 87 - 01. I sent the pics and I'm waiting for a response. He told me to look on cf and that they do fit... Lol found this while looking...

I'm going to fix this one with super glue and rvt black stuff. But this is something I'm going to definitely be thoroughly inspecting before wheeling I would suggest this to anyone who runs this kit on there rig, from the look of it the plastic isn't that thick where it connects to the port for the hose

Naomi, you will have better luck with some gasket sealer called The Right Stuff. More expensive, but much tougher an stickier. When I put my intake on with it I had to use a long pry bar to get it loose. Used it to seal a plastic radiator on the TJ and worked like a charm

some times if you want it bad enough you gotta change stuff around to accommodate new stuff my kit was 100% complete and nothing was broken I have had it for a while and put it through its courses and its still perfect if you want direct fit go to ARB but prepare to bust out some Benjamens they are like 400-500 bucks

That is fine and I would have been happy with that if he had posted IT WAS
NOT direct fit, due to broken parts and the fact he didn't say anything about relocation, and intact it was supposed to fit an 96+ I got my money back and I got to keep it ;) I assume he'll be changing his add.

I'll keep that in mind, I used the black rvt all the time to seal holes I make in the jeep haven't had any problems yet but the other stuff is worth a try, ordered the new air filter this morning and I'm looking forward to finishing up that project I started :)

I have just about quit using RTV because this stuff works so much better. And if you get the more expensive can, you don't have any waste. Pressurized too so it is easy to apply

No, just replacing what I used for him. The insult was a can of cutting oil. He watched me use everything but for drilling and threading and just shook his head
