My floor pans are just about gone in the front and I was wondering is anyone here has a good method for replacing or repairing them.

Thanks

You can get replacement floor pans from Quadratec and some other vendors. Pain in the neck to do, but clean everything up and weld in with a wire feed welder.

Depending on how bad they are ,and if you don't weld , you can use re enforced fiberglass and glass over the bad spots in the floor. I have not done this in a jeep , but have in several other vehicles. patients and a couple of extra coats and it real solid

I want to follow this conversation because I'm in the same boat. Too much wheeling in the mud in my early years with this Jeep have taken a toll. I know I need to replace the rocker panelse on both sides and likely all or most of the floor pans.

Here is a link to Quadratec's replacement parts

I just bought my first jeep and pans are rusted out front and back. I ordered new pans from c2c fabrication http://www.c2cfabrication.com/ I will post pics once I start. Should have pans buy next weekend.

Legally you cannot put fiberglass in a unibody floorboard as its part of the structure.

I'm a cheap bastard so didn't want to pay for the floor pans plus the shipping, so I just made my own from some scrap sheet metal I re-purposed. Here's the first video. There's a whole series detailing how far I've gotten so far. Its my DD so I have ot do the repairs in small sections.

I always leave about inch of the old pan along the rockers and set the new pan over it. Then plug weld everything together. If you over lap the toe boards put the new pans on the inside like shingles on a roof plug weld these panels and seam seal both sides.
