New/old project

Hey guys, thought id throw up a pic of me and my dads new project, its an 88 sammy, hes had it forever but just started making it off road worthy, right now all it has is mud tires in the back, the modified door hinges, spidertrax seat brackets and a couple of other small things.

we finished the seats and harnesses last weekend and are working on the lift kit probably next, still trying to find one he likes. its a fun little toy, i use it at the river close to every weekend.

anyway here it is, if you guys have any tips/tricks it'd be appreciated.

I use to really want a Sami, still do, just not quite as much. Surely interested to see more.

When we built my buddies we did a SOA lift which gave us around 5". Only to find out stock axles don't like 33s so slapped in some early waggy D44s with the offset rear, wanted to be different than all the ones running yota axles. Ended up linking the rear and stretching it about 8" since they are very short. He still wheels it with an exo and 37s on those axles, stock front leaves and TJ rear coils on the 4 link.
