Guess the frame rot was a little more worse then I thought.

Still got my monies worth outa this rig. It's gonna make a nice donor for one of the other MJs I got.

Just glad I heard the clunking on the way to work last night, and investigated when I got home this morning.

Well after about 2-3k miles and learning how rusty this poor truck really was....

I stripped it. Just about down to the last wire.
H.O. Engine
H.O. engine bay wiring and dash wiring
H.O. sending unit
Dana 44
2" receiver
Trail rig fenders
Hood

Lots of misc. All hardware bagged and labeled, along with both harnesses, labeled. Even the vaccum system is labeled.

Its last ride. I think I got my monies worth..

This is what happen last night when I was working in the dark to get the axle/leafs out. I simply used my floor jack underneith the rearmost cab support and check out what happened! Ish!

The weight of the axle ripped this right the heck off.

Off to the crusher :( Bittersweet day.

Too bad you are so far away. I could use that bed to make an awesome trailer for the XJ

Honestly if it was in remotely good shape, it woulda came off. It was rusted terrible. Rear flares are a MJ specific item. I couldnt even get them off because someone used chalk to hold them on. Ridiculousness!

Oh well, just a nice daydream. We seem to be getting too much camping gear to fit in the Jeep and I have been resisting the roof rack due to poor fuel milage
