Basically it is something to try and motivate the users of the site to do more. Post more, etc...

Not all the functions are active. There is a promotion portion, but right now people are either (not a member, a member, or a moderator) so there isn't much reason to enable the promotion part of this.

You have to register, which you have already done. You are a member.

I made it a little clearer. You (you being anyone) CAN BE a non member, member, vendor, moderator or administrator. When you register you become a member, prior to that you are a non member.

Bottom line is this;

It is an add on to the software that makes up this board. I looked and there isn't any clear documentation on it. You just have to poke around and look to see what all it has and figure it out from there. I haven't spent a great deal of time on it so I'm still learning things about it too.

If you figure something out and what to share it for the rest of us, please do.

When you read someones post you can click on the icon in the upper right corner of the post of the scales, next to the "Report this Post" button.. If you agree with the post give the poster a positive "Rep" point. If you disagree give them a negative "Rep" point. You may or may not be rewarded later with the same treatment in return.
