Greetings folks! Pleasure to be here.

Just bought my first Jeep two weeks ago, 1987 XJ Chief, daily driver is a 1996 Dodge 2500 Cummins 4X4.

The XJ is intended for use on the old logging roads around here (Northcoast British Columbia) as the Dodge is just a little too hefty for some spots.

The Chief is well used but the body is in solid shape, it's got a few minor dents but minimal rust. 4.0, AT, NP231, D30 (disco of course), D35.

Suspension is sacked so I've already got an RE 3.5 lift kit ordered, didn't bother with the flex kit as I don't plan on doing the rock crawler/mud bogger thing.

So...here we go!

Wow that image may not tell the whole story but it looks to be in GREAT shape for a 87. I want to get a TJ for my wife, and my girls can drive her 96 Mustang but failing that I'll get the girls a old XJ.
