New, A~Pillar Light Brackets for all years Cherokee with snorkles.....

Matching left & right brackets for those equipped with snorkles, still $47.50 'SHIPPED'.....Complete with hardware

Install........Since we're using the same base as our other brackets, the install thread will also be usefull for this application....

Install: http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/ins...rackets-83131/

The Snorkle style A~Pillar bracket is designed so the snorkle passes over the bracket and hardware, I changed the mounting bolts to stainless steel carriage bolts, for a smooth low profile finish, again allowing the snorkle to pass over the bracket and hardware. Everything is included to install, item is sold in matching pairs, all ship USPS flat rate, outside of the USA, there may be additional shipping charges.

A QUICK REVIEW.............

The 'sweet' spot seems to be 4" up from the base of the A pillar-

Measure both sides, lay a pcs of tape accross, mark your holes for 1/4" drilling-

Once mounted, wire your lights as desired, your light bracket should look like this once mounted, providing room for the snorkle to pass by-

Refer to the install thread for more detailed instructions, again only the hardware has changed, they install the same.

These snorkle friendly brackets feature a larger light mounting surface area which will accept virtually any light.

Have a great day!

Nice work! Do you have a pic of these installed with lights? Snorkle or no snorkle, doesn't matter. How much viewing area do they take away with say a standard sized Hella.

olds......There are 2 versions of bracketry for the XJ, the standard version inwhich no one has reported any viewing issues, and now the snorkle version.
If there are any vision complaints, it would most likely depend on the hieght of the driver, seat position, bracket position and the type of light used.

Here's an album of the standard bracketry:

Anything you put on the a-pillar is going to obscure your vision. Keep in mind that those GPS, cell phone, radar detectors, all stuck to the glass do too.

Worse case, make the wiring quick disconnect and install the a-pillar light when your going off-road. Wouldn't take more that 5 minutes.

Thanks for the link to the album. That puts a better perspective to the positioning & such. I've seen them on a few Wranglers and like how they look but was never sure how they'd look on an XJ. I like the idea of being able to reach out the window and adjust the light to where I need to see.

Resell them, some weeks I can't build enough of them! :sign0181:

I've only posted them on 3 sites & fb, probably sell quick on a different site, bolt hole locations remain the same, so the new ones would bolt right up! ;)
