"Many of you know who follow up with me, and SCC on Facebook, but I'm organizing a Benefit Show-N-Shine for my friend's 8yr old Godson, Elijah, who was diagnosed over Easter with a large tumor on his adrenal gland. He has Neuroblastoma, which is very aggressive, and has been deemed High Risk, and will be undergoing heavy chemotherapy. The Tumor is too large to remove at this time, but luckily it has not spread to his bones, however they're awaiting further results if it has spread to any other organs.
We will be accepting donations at the show, and putting it all towards the Fund setup on this brave little guy's behalf.
I have room for about 30 Rigs, and Have atleast 12 confirmed, and about 5-6more "Maybes" right now. I see this not only as the RIGHT thing to do, b/c no child deserves to be sick like this, and a great way to help my friend and her extended family. But also a great way to show that the 4x4 community is not a bunch of beer-drinking, redneck yahoos who go out and destroy the earth and everything else."
