:notworthy::buddy:I do too, but around WV they are difficult to find, especially a 2dr 5 speed in that good of condition. It only needs a few things and 2 of those are routine maintenance that I haven't gotten around to yet, then it needs an AC compressor, the drivers side rocker patched, its gonna get a CB, and I gotta finish the awesome stereo in it. :buddy:

Got my CB installed now, with a three foot steel magnet base whip, have a four foot fiberglass antenna, gonna make a bracket for it, thatl mount on my drivers side taillight, also will be on a spring base, should work pretty good, any thoughts?

Personally....... I'd go with the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs.
Best rated snow performance tire on the market - hands down - and I have video to prove it!
They're awesome on wet terrain/cement and hug rocks like nobody's business. They do well in the mud (and from what I hear - good in the sand too)..... I loved my 31's and as soon as the 33's I have now wear down I'll be getting a set of Duratracs in the 33 inch variety too.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireModel=Wrangler+DuraTrac&tireMake=Goodyear

By the way, nice little 99 you got there!
Reminds me of mine when I first got it!
Same rims and everything! (just not black!)
Good luck with the build man, Hit me up anytime if you ever have any questions or are looking for some tips - I know these 99's in & out!

On the road they're AWESOME! Grip very well on wet cement, super quiet. and Very friendly in the corners. Seriously one of my most favorite tires ever.
ESPECIALLY for a daily driver.
As for the bump stops and fan shroud, you can either go with rockauto.com, quadratec, or save yourself some bucks and go to your local wrecking yard.

There's a reason you havent seen them on Jeeps. They'll super thin. Sidewalls will tear if you get within 50ft of a root or rock. Ok i'm obviously over exaggerating, but still, they're fine for a pavement princess, but you wouldnt want them on a rig that sees any trail time.

Well, after almost a year of the XJ being down due to the transmission going out it is now up and running. Straightening out some minor bugs and it is legal and drivable. it is definatly taking alot to get used to driving again since i've been driving a new Mitsubishi mirage, with less horspower, a super light clutch, street tires and a good heater lol. but i am happy to have it up and running again! Pictures to follow soon.:bacondance::camera:
