Well awhile back I posted a picture of my fifth wheel trailer and said that I was going to tear it apart to make it a flat bed because it had not wintered well and part of the roof caved in. Well Spanky comented that it was to bad cause it looked like a decent trailer. That got me thinking ( yup, I do that now and again :rotfl2:), and so I spent the last 2 days cleaning out the inside and getting rid of the mold, which after really looking was only on the bedding from the leak where the roof caved. I posted it on CL, listing that it needed work, but was liveable. After telling everyone that e-mailed me back what was wrong with it, I am now bombarded with people wanting to come and take a look at it. Now I am thinking maybe I should have put a larger price on it. :D

It is a 1977 24' Wilderness trailer and I listed it for $750, Heck I only paid $500 for it a few years back. Anyways I thought I would post some pics of it and let you guys tell me if I priced it right, or should have gone higher/lower.

THANK YOU SPANKY!!, for making me rethink what I was going to do, this way it saves me time, and might just make me a little money too.

Here is the one problem spot that this trailer has, but I was told it should be a fairly easy fix

That's a good deal. It is perfect for someone who wants one cheap so they could fix it themselves.

That is a great deal for someone. They would have to have a fifth wheel tow rig but that is it. Looks to be in pretty good shape. I think it should sell pretty fast.

I hope so, I am tired of looking at it ;)

The smartest thing I did was It originally was a fifth wheel, but I made it into a gooseneck, but I made it so you can either pull it as a fifthwheel or a gooseneck.

A very good deal, but you now have a boat, spend the maybe $100 and fix it. You'll never find that deal again. Ok maybe so but it is unlikely.

Fix the trailer?

If thats what you mean, then I bought the wood to fix it and it will be fixed tomorrow for around $6 bucks.

Also I had someone come and look at it today and they turned it down because of this

I had forgotten all about this, it was like that when I bought it. the owner before me kind of backed his backhoe into it. Yet this is only cosmetic, it does not go all the way through and it does not leak. Would this turn you guys off?? He said I did not tell him everything, geees not like I lied to him, I just forgot it was even there.

Since it is only cosmetic it would not change the way I felt about the purchase unless I was looking for an excuse to not buy it for some reason.

Yeah fix the trailer. As I was saying you have a boat, a nice camper, and a truck to pull it. All you need is some kids and you have everything necessary for a camp out!

My girls are like me and would rather camp in a tent than in a trailer, nothing beats tent camping!

Well if you camped in Texas you'd want an air conditioner! lol Easy decision for you guys to sell then.

For me it would be something to pick apart looking for a cheaper deal...

I'd love to have it, but I have nothing to pull it with, or a place to keep it.
