I take the cake for excitment!!!

Here in little ol' Heppner, nothing ever happens until today and it all unfolded outside my back door.............................................. ...........................

I was sitting at my computer when I saw a shadow go across my window, well I opened the curtains to see what was out there, there were two rigs, a Dodge and a Jeep. I went out the back door to see who was on my property and I am met with two cops standing with their backs to my house, the male cop is holding a AR-15 and the woman had I guess to be a glock? anyways they tell me to go back inside and of course I do. This lasted for more than an hour, then they came to my door and told me WTF had been going on. It seems they had tracked a man who was tweaking to my property, they had him in custody and also had called an ambulance out. Well I took some pics after all the excitment was over, Only the male cop would actually let me take his picture, but of course he said no when I asked if I could shoot the picture with him holding the AR-15, oh well, I did sneak in a shot of the dog while they were not looking. Wish I could have got alot more, but it was not to be, so anyways........................................... ............... Here you go!!

See that is why I picked a small town, the biggest thing here until today was the theft and joy ride of a tractor :rotfl2:

I just never expected anything like this to happen, but from what I learned earlier, he did not have a gun, was on drugs and had a reaction from the overdose that made him paranoid, he ran from the EMS, so his brother called the cops and they had a man hunt in my back yard, how the **** he got way out here is still a mystery to me, he had no car, it was impounded fouth of july weekend when he was arrested for a DUII. This man has problems, the really sad part is that he has three boys, but they are with their mother in Astoria, all the way on the other side of the state from him.

See what a small town can do, everyone knows everything, I bet this poor guy was not even out of the ambulance before everyone in town knew what happened

Nope, no shots were fired, his brother showed up and talked him out from the bushes

The good news is that now I know to watch my speed if I see a green/grey grand cherokee

That's what I like about you. You always find that silver lining to every dark cloud.
