Found what might be a cool new product. It is called freeze and release by Locktite. They might have something here that makes PB Blaster a waste of time.

With the way my xj looks underneath i could use something stronger. It came from Iowa.

Now why would you want some thing like that when you have the true Top Gear show?

I am seeing a comparable product in the parts departments of John Deere dealers in my region, will try to snap a pic next week.

Well what good does that do us?? Get to using it already, sheesh!! LOL, JK... I think I'll be looking to pick a can of this up once I get back home since I'll be doin some work on my XJ so I can see how well it'll work for my XJ and rust that develops from my area!!

I just got back from the first test of this stuff in a real/near real world application.

What i had is a rear bumper from a 1989 Cadillac brougham from the wilds of Minnesota in other words rust galore. the parts i wanted off of it were the tail light assembles left and right sides.

The part I was working on

http://imageshack.us/a/img835/7591/img1362ab.th.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/835/img1362ab.jpg/)

The bolt after coming out

http://imageshack.us/a/img809/6387/img1365q.th.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/809/img1365q.jpg/)

The hole it came from
http://imageshack.us/a/img824/3883/img1366mf.th.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/824/img1366mf.jpg/)

so as a said before i was working on both a right and left side. the left side came off with just 1 treatment of the stuff . the right side (the one in the pic) took 3 treatments and using a cheater bar on the ratchet.

so I had mixed results I think i would work better on a "normal" nut and bolt set up.

Pros

Smells good
easy to use
good picture instructions on can

Cons

kind of expensive $14 ish a can

Is it the be all end all for removing stuck stuff? no but it is another tool. time will see if it last long enough to be worth the price. if i can get 3 to more uses that would be break even any more would be a good value.

I hope this help is some way.

I installed a leveling kit on my son's F150 4x4 today and a was thinking about this stuff. Luckily, good old PB Blaster worked well enough to get the coils swaped.:D

I bought a can of stuff like this in Germany... Can't say it was any miracle in a can. And as mentioned it wasn't cheap. I think I'll just stick to ATF/Acetone blend or heat. :I

The best I've found from my other projects( 88 suburban and 74 chevelle) is kroil oil. It's loosened up every frozen bolt I've ever dealt with.
